Jailbreak iOS 8.4.1 - Pangu8 Download
Today, after extensively beta testing iOS 8.4.1 (a minor release) for roughly one month, Apple released iOS 8.4.1 to the general public, effectively closing the TaiG Untethered iOS 8.4 jailbreak utility. Like all iOS updates, 8.4.1, which carries a build number of 12H321, is available via both Apple’s OTA update feature baked into the Settings app and through iTunes. However, Jailbreakers should avoid 8.4.1 at all costs – for more on iOS 8.4.1’s changes and how the firmware impacts Jailbreaking, continue reading.
Until today, iOS 8.4.1’s changes have remained unknown, even through its developer testing phase. However, we now know the firmware simply corrects issues pertaining to Apple Music and Beats 1 Radio – oh, and it patches the Jailbreak!
Having said that, if your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad is Jailbroken on iOS 8 through 8.4 via TaiG (or even PP for that matter), updating will result in the instantaneous loss of your Jailbreak and will leave you locked out of Jailbreaking for what’s bound to be an incredibly long time.
iOS 8.4.1’s Minor Changes
Aside from the rather embarrassing Apple Music bug fixes listed above, iOS 8.4.1 also unfortunately closes an impressive number of Jailbreak vulnerabilities exploited by TaiG and past groups, including Pangu and the evad3rs’ evasi0n tool.
